Prissy Durrin, Martha Gaston, and Melinda Stegall for taking
them on these fun trips.  These trips are great
experiences for our wonderful students.

The Senior Class Program was a wonderful success.  It was exciting to see all the accomplishments of these students.  We cannot wait to see what the future holds.  If you missed it, contact Mrs. Henninger for information on how to get the video that was played.  Thank you to all who had a part in making it such a great evening.

The Business Cooperative Education luncheon was held on Friday, May 9th.  This luncheon was an expression of appreciation to the employers for giving the cooperative education students of DHS a chance to have on-the-job training while attending school.  Thank you to Mrs. Singleton for her dedication to these students.
The entrance to the building is nearing completion.  The Daingerfield logo has been stained onto the concrete in front of the main entrance and it looks amazing.  We are excited about how nice the front entrance looks. Stop by and take a look!!
The Auditorium is complete!!  It looks absolutely beautiful.  It is a place that our students and faculty can enjoy and be proud of.  It is definitely state of the art.  We cannot wait to show it off to the community.

This year’s sophomores and juniors, if you are planning on taking Dual Credit classes this summer or in the fall of 2014, and have passed the reading and writing TSI, you can come to Counselor’s office to sign up for classes.  If you are taking fall classes you can apply for the Dual Credit Scholarship.  The deadline to do so is June 30th.

NTCC is hosting Leadercast on May 9th.  Leadercast exists to positively change the way the world thinks about leadership.  This year’s theme – Beyond You – challenges leaders to focus outward rather than inward.  Experience Leadercast live on May 9 and discover what it means to be a leader worth following.  Laura Bush will be one of the speakers.  Information about tickets is posted on the bulletin board and in the teacher’s lounge.
